LandVision offers several baseline environmental assessments and ongoing monitoring programmes which include:
Soil Health Monitoring
Monitoring soil health through the Visual Soil Assessment (VSA) scorecard system. Baseline data is gathered (Year 0) from sites chosen under a fenceline and within a paddock. Ongoing annual monitoring for the same sites (Year 1, Year 2 etc.) can highlight improvement in, or more importantly, degradation in soil health. The latter requiring a management change.
Stream Monitoring
Assessing stream health through the MCI index, eDNA profiling, and assessing contaminant values. Baseline data is gathered (Year 0) with annual monitoring of the same sites to determine any improvement in stream health. With any degradation of stream health, recommendations are provided to rectify the issue.
Bush Health
LandVisionoffers assessments on the health of native bush remnants on farm. This includes the identification of native species and animal and plant pests. Opportunities to improve bush vitality and enhance the biodiversity of these areas will be provided.
