LandVision provides paddock scale soil surveys to accurately determine risk categories for Farm Dairy Effluent (FDE) application. From this, accurate storage requirements can be determined using the Dairy Effluent Storage Calculator (DESC)*.
LandVision also completes consent applications, on behalf of the client, for applying FDE to land. This work includes completing the numerous application forms and maps, an up-to-date DESC, as well as bucket tests on the effluent irrigator to accurately determine application depths.
*LandVision has staff who are competent users of the DESC having successfully completed the Farm Dairy Effluent: System Design and Management Course at Massey University.
